Genevieve Brown...

As a little girl growing up in Maryland, Genevieve or "Genny" as she was nicknamed, dreamed of becoming both an actress and artist. She was a whimsical little girl, usually preferring to draw princesses, fairies, and
unicorns, and then taking a break to go sing and dance to her "Fame" and "Flashdance" records. A couple of decades later... Nothing has changed! Genny earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and spent the next 5 years living the life of a struggling performer in New York City. During that time, she met her husband, Brady, who began to wax poetic about
his home state of Colorado, and especially, about Boulder. She also began to explore other outlets for her creativity and developed a passion for turning furniture into art. Genny and Brady moved to Boulder in October of 2003. It is here in Boulder that she has begun to realize an "adult" version of her childhood dream. She is a working actress represented by Maximum Talent Agency of Denver and she has launched her own line of
wood-burned, hand painted furniture called "Whimsy."
